Via Ferrata & Corda

These aerial routes are a good way to gain height, and discover our splendid Ardèche landscapes, while surpassing yourself.

Zip lines, monkey bridges, abseiling...

Get your fill of sensations on our different vias, just next to Vallon pont d'arc, Les Vans, Villefort, or even Aubenas !

What is the difference between Via Ferrata & Via Corda?

Both are routes set up on the side of a cliff.

For the via ferrata, we are secured by a cable, and the cliff is equipped with numerous bars which allow us to gradually gain height. Classically on via ferrata we find long monkey bridges, and of course beautiful zip lines.

For via corda, we are secured by ropes. These routes being much wilder, there are no bars. We therefore move mainly horizontally, taking advantage of the weaknesses of the cliffs : the “ledges”. You can also find monkey bridges and zip lines, but often of shorter length since they are made with ropes rather than cables. On the other hand, the via corda gives access to superb abseils down!

For these two types of via, I will provide you with harnesses equipped with double lanyards, as well as a helmet.

Who are the Via for?

The Via are accessible to almost everybody, and all of our routes are suitable for people who have never done it before.

  • For the youngest, the “Via corda children & families” is thought for them ! Our small adventurers will gently gain some height, while learning to handle the carabiners ensuring their safety.

  • For older people, the “Via corda” allows you to gain more height, up to 40m above the ground ! The highlight of these via corda is, without a doubt, the final big abseil down to get back on the ground.

  • You are more confident on cables and bars than on ropes... let yourself be tempted by a “Via ferrata” !
